Michael Cutter is a character from the television series Law & Order, and is portrayed by Linus Roache. He was an Executive Assistant District Attorney under Jack McCoy and working with Connie Rubirosa (whom he had feelings for). He resembled his predecessor Jack McCoy in his willingness to bend rules to obtain convictions.

Although he bent rules at times to suit his needs and his ideas of justice, he did not see a lot of gray areas in many cases. Even though others working with him would see these gray areas and try to convince him to take another approach.

Even though he seemed to be narrow sighted in a lot of areas, he did his best to provide justice and place the blame where it belonged.
