Paul Robinette is a character from the television series Law & Order, and is portrayed by Richard Brooks. He was an Assistant District Attorney working with Ben Stone. Following his departure from the DA's office, he became a defense attorney and even faced Ben Stone's successor Jack McCoy.

Paul faced many personal and racial obstacles prior and during his time at the DA's office. Throughout his time he learned where his strengths and drive actually derived from and worked to better the lives that he could.

Paul was an extremely intelligent and thoughtful prosecutor and he didn't let others define who he was.
